History of Mustang

Mustang Washrooms began as Mustang Cleaning Supplies, providing a wide range of janitorial products and cleaning services across multiple sectors. Through consistent delivery and a strong focus on customer service, the business quickly built a loyal and growing client base.

As the company expanded and its reputation for reliability strengthened, clients increasingly asked Mustang to extend its offering to include washroom services. In response, Mustang Washrooms was established in 2006, marking the start of a new chapter for the business.

From the outset, the focus was on doing things differently. Through extensive research into the industry, it became clear that there was an opportunity to introduce greater accountability and innovation into washroom servicing. In particular, there was a need for a system that could provide clients with complete confidence that services were being delivered consistently and to the highest standard.

Over the following two years, Mustang developed and refined a bespoke barcode monitoring system designed to track and verify every aspect of the service. In January 2008, this system was fully launched, setting a new benchmark for transparency, reliability and quality assurance.

Today, Mustang Washrooms continues to build on these foundations. As the business grows, it remains committed to listening to its clients, investing in innovation and continually enhancing its services and product offering to stay at the forefront of the washroom and hygiene industry.

The day before a scheduled visit, our engineers receive their job list via handheld devices, while clients are notified by email that service is due the next working day. This includes the engineer’s name and vehicle registration for added reassurance.

On arrival, the engineer logs a geo-tagged photograph to confirm they are on site. As each washroom unit is serviced, every item is individually scanned, forming part of our three-stage barcode monitoring system and ensuring full transparency throughout.

Every Mustang Washrooms unit is assigned a unique barcode, allowing us to maintain a real-time record of all services. As tasks are completed, each item is scanned to confirm the work has been carried out.

If an item or barcode is missing, a reason code must be logged, ensuring any issues are quickly identified and resolved. Once all items have been serviced and recorded, the process moves to the final stage: official sign-off, providing full accountability and peace of mind.

Once servicing and scanning are complete, the job is formally signed off and closed. The client then receives an email confirmation with proof of service, including time-stamped details and a digital signature.
